Anna has been shooting really well this summer. We thought she might have the scores and the tournament placements to make the Jr US Archery Team, but we thought it was going to be close. We thought she might just squeek into the fifth position, but . . .

Anna took the third place spot on the team! And it was close. The NAA uses a somewhat complicated formula to rank the different qualifying tournaments and Anna's placements resulted in taking the third position. This is really exciting because the top three archers are usually the shooting team with the fourth and fifth spots making up the alternates if one of the top three can't make a tournament.

Anna is off to the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista (near San Diego) to work with Kisik Lee, the US National Head Coach. She leaves Saturday, Sept 1 and she'll be there for a week.
